Terms and Conditions for Online Purchases – Gothenburg View
By completing a purchase via the Gothenburg Views website, you accept these terms and conditions of purchase in their entirety and agree to your data being registered so that we can manage your order.
- COMMISSIONER'S RESPONSIBILITY
To purchase products or services via the Gothenburg Views website, the buyer must be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent if the buyer is under 18 years of age.
By accepting the terms and conditions of purchase, the buyer confirms that they meet this requirement.
The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided at the time of purchase is accurate and complete. Gothenburg View reserves the right to refuse or adjust a purchase if incorrect information has been provided.
It is the buyer's responsibility to read the information about the current product or service before purchase, and to check that the order confirmation corresponds to the order.
- PRICES
All prices on the Gothenburg Views website are in Swedish Kronor (SEK) including VAT unless otherwise stated.
Any booking fees, service charges or other additional costs will be shown at the time of purchase.
The prices listed on the website are valid for online purchases. Different prices may apply for purchases made in-store or through retailers.
Gothenburg View reserves the right to change prices and is not liable for any typographical errors, technical errors, or obviously incorrect price details. In the case of an obviously incorrect price, the agreement is void and the purchase can be cancelled.
- PURCHASE OF TICKETS, EXPERIENCES AND GIFT CARDS
All purchases made are binding after payment has been completed.
After purchase is complete, an order confirmation will be sent via email, which also serves as a receipt.
It is the buyer's responsibility to check that the order confirmation has been received and that the content is correct.
3.1 Tickets and booked experiences
Upon purchasing tickets or booked experiences, the buyer will receive a digital voucher or booking confirmation via email and/or SMS.
Your ticket or booking confirmation must be presented upon arrival, either on your mobile phone or as a printout.
3.2 Gift vouchers
Gothenburg View can offer digital and/or physical gift cards.
Digital gift cards are sent via email after a completed purchase.
Gift cards can be used as payment for products and services offered by Gothenburg View, unless otherwise stated.
Gift cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced.
- PAYMENT
Payment will be made through the payment solutions offered at the time of purchase.
Available payment methods can include card payments (Visa/Mastercard), Swish, Apple Pay, Klarna, or another external payment partner.
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- Cancellation and Right of Withdrawal
5.1 Tickets and timed experiences
Tickets for events, experiences, or timed activities are generally not covered by the right of withdrawal under the Distance Contracts Act, as they relate to leisure activities on a specified day or time. This is the practice applied by Gothenburg View.
If Gothenburg View offers the possibility of rebooking or cancellation, this will be indicated at the time of purchase.
5.2 Gift card
When purchasing gift cards online, there is a 14-day right of withdrawal according to the Distance Contracts Act, provided that the gift card has not been used wholly or partly.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must contact Gothenburg View within 14 days of purchase.
5.3 Refund
Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Processing time can take up to 5 banking days depending on the payment provider.
- COMPLAINT
If the buyer considers that the product, service or experience purchased does not correspond to what was promised, Gothenburg View should be contacted as soon as possible.
Complaints should be made within a reasonable time after the defect has been discovered.
For returns, please provide the order number and a description of the problem for faster processing.
- Force Majeure
Gothenburg View is not responsible for any hindrances, delays, or defects that are due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, fire, governmental decisions, strikes, pandemics, technical failures, or similar events.
In the event of force majeure, there is no obligation to pay compensation for indirect damage or financial loss.
- PERSONAL DATA
Gothenburg View processes personal data in accordance with current data protection legislation (GDPR).
Personal data is used to administer purchases, deliver ordered services, manage payments, and communicate with the customer as needed.
Information may be shared with payment providers, booking systems and other necessary partners to complete the purchase.
If marketing is conducted via email, the customer can unsubscribe at any time.
