A vision raised to the sky
With its 246 metres and 74 storeys Karlatornet is the tallest building and residential block in the Nordic region, located in the expansive Karlastaden neighbourhood in Hisingen, Gothenburg. The tower houses 611 exclusive homes, hotels, offices and meeting spaces - a modern mixed-use city with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
On floor 69, approximately 220 metres above ground, opens Gothenburg View, a viewpoint with a glass box, sky bar and EXO restaurant - the highest restaurant in the Nordic region. Here, both Gothenburg residents and visitors get a breathtaking panoramic view of the city.
The construction, led by Serneke with architecture by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, was completed in 2024 and occupancy started in autumn 2023. The tower's lifts are among Sweden's fastest, with speeds of up to 30 km/h.
