On the 69th floor of the Karlatornet you will find Gothenburg View – a destination where people from all over the world come together to experience Gothenburg from a completely new perspective. We are now looking for an experienced and dedicated service worker who wants to become part of our team.

Working in the service department at Gothenburg View is something out of the ordinary. One day you serve lunch to guests who enjoy the view of Gothenburg. The next night you are part of an exclusive corporate event, a banquet or a larger gathering.

Our operations range from lunch service and bar menus to Christmas buffets, parties and events, with everything from simple snacks to exclusive three-course dinners.

It requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to adapt the service to both the occasion and the guest. But above all, it offers a varied workday where you have the opportunity to develop and use all your experience in the restaurant and service industry.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with experience in restaurant service who feels comfortable in their role. You have a genuine interest in food, drink, and people, and understand that truly great service is about more than just serving what is on the menu.

You have the ability to read the guest, stay one step ahead and create a personal experience, whether it’s a quick lunch, a glass of wine in the bar or an exclusive dinner.

You are self-motivated, structured, and thrive in a high-paced environment without compromising on quality or hospitality. At the same time, you are a team player who is happy to help your colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.

We are looking for you who:

• Has documented experience in serving food in restaurants, hotels, or event management.
• Has a good background in working with cash registers and payment management.
• Has knowledge of food and drink and preferably experience in both à la carte and banquet service.
• Is service-oriented, responsible and solution-oriented.
• Is flexible and enjoys working with varied tasks and working hours.
• Speaks Swedish and English fluently. Additional language skills are an advantage.
• Has a natural charm and a desire to always exceed the guest's expectations.

• Probationary position: Applied according to agreement
• Collective agreements: Employment terms according to the current collective agreements between Visita and HRF
